Transfer news LIVE: Arsenal 'make contact' with Liverpool target, Man Utd £35m enquiry, Rashford latest

Welcome to Mirror Football's transfer blog for Monday, August 10. There is little more than three weeks remaining of the transfer window for teams to strengthen and even less time before the start of the Premier League season.
Liverpool are set to add Ronald Araujo to their backline as they close in on a loan deal for the Barcelona star. Fresh from conceding three goals against Monaco, his arrival could be timely for the Reds.
Arsenal, meanwhile, unveiled Bruno Guimaraes over the weekend and now must decide whether to search for an alternative to Vinicius Junior after their bid to land the Real Madrid star failed. Reports suggest they may attempt to hijack the Reds' quest to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola.
Manchester United have already added Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans in midfield for Michael Carrick, but may yet add another. The Red Devils are also looking for a new full-back, but will have a hard time prising Lewis Hall away from Newcastle United.
Manchester City are expecting Rodri to return later this week despite interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona. The Spaniard has a year remaining on his contract.
"Yes, at the moment he will be in Manchester," Maresca said. "There is no update - On August 14 he will be back."

Manchester United, Arsenal and Aston Villa have enquired over Club Brugge full-back Joaquin Seys, per the Sun. The defender has been the subject of extensive scouting and is said to be worth £30m. It is claimed the fee is unlikely to put United off. Newcastle, Benfica and Porto are also said to be interested.
