Sunderland Forward Is Gathering Interest From Manchester United: Should Le Bris Cash In On Him?

In a recent report, journalist Dean Jones claimed that Sunderland forward Brian Brobbey is gathering interest from Manchester United. It is believed that the Red Devils are in the race along with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Atletico Madrid to sign the Dutch striker from the Black Cats next year.

Brobbey’s Impressive Form In English Football

Brobbey has enjoyed a good run of form at the Wearside club in this campaign so far after putting in a few impressive displays as the focal point of their attack. The 24-year-old has scored three goals in six matches for Sunderland this season in various competitions.

The Dutch talent is currently one of the most talented centre-forwards in the Premier League. Hence, it is no wonder that he is on the radar of so many top clubs ahead of the January transfer window.

His current deal at the Stadium of Light will expire in the summer of 2029, so Regis Le Bris will be under no immediate pressure to cash in on him next year.

Should Sunderland Boss Regis Le Bris Cash In On Brobbey?

Brobbey is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has the eye to create the odd chance for his teammates on the offensive end of the field and is a good dribbler with the ball as well.

The Dutch sensation can contribute by scoring his fair share of goals up top when he is playing with confidence on the pitch. Brobbey has proven himself to be a decent performer in the Premier League. He remains one of the first names in Le Bris’ teamsheet.

At the moment, Brobbey is an irreplaceable member of Sunderland’s squad. Thus, Le Bris should only consider cashing on him if he receives a favourable offer for his services this January or at the end of this campaign.

At 24, Brobbey will only improve with each season. He is good enough to help the Black Cats push for European football once again in the Premier League this season. Therefore, the Wearside outfit would be wise to keep hold of him until next summer before making a decision on his future.
