Serie A star, 20, airlifted to hospital after 'almost drowning in swimming pool'

Cagliari star Yael Trepy has been airlifted to hospital and put in intensive care after he almost drowned in a swimming pool.
The incident happened at a mansion in Sardinia where the 20-year-old Serie A footballer was enjoying some downtime after his side had secured a Coppa Italia win over Arezzo. Trepy, who reportedly cannot swim, was found in the deep end of the pool.
Cagliari's squad were given two days off after Friday’s 1-0 victory - where Trepy played 53 minutes before being hauled off.
The club have issued a statement which read: “Yael Trepy is currently hospitalised at the Santissima Annunziata Civil Hospital in Sassari, where he is in intensive care.
