Brighton & Hove Albion have been awarded both the Player and the Manager of the Month prizes for September by the Premier League.

The Seagulls are currently sitting in third place in the table after an undefeated September which saw them draw 1-1 with Leeds United before putting five past Coventry City and handily defeating champions Arsenal 3-0 at the Amex.

Veteran midfielder Pascal Gross was given the Player of the Month award after scoring and making two assists against Coventry before netting against the Gunners. In that time the German also scored against Manchester United in the League Cup.

Gross's manager, who is two years younger than him, the 33-year-old Fabian Hürzeler was also named Manager of the Month for the first time since 2024.

Brighton will be hoping they can continue that momentum when the Premier League returns and they make the long trip to face Sunderland.
