NINE DAYS TO GO! 8 transfers that could happen before the Premier League's new season kicks off as Man Utd and Arsenal ready deals

The Premier League's Big Six have dominated the summer transfer window so far, splashing out to raid the division for the best players.

Manchester City signed Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest for £116million. Chelsea signed Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa for £117m. Tottenham signed Sandro Tonali from Newcastle for £100m. Arsenal signed Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle for £75m.

Those are among the biggest transfers of the window so far, but there are certain to be more with 20 days left until the deadline on September 1. While the past few weeks have seen intriguing deals touted - think Vinicius Junior to Arsenal, Bradley Barcola to Liverpool or Enzo Fernandez to Man City - there are plenty of others which are actually close to completion.

Here Mirror Football goes through the transfer which you can expect to see wrapped up in the next week.

After sensational links with Arsenal, Romero is set to land at a club he appeared destined for. The Argentina international is poised to link up with his compatriot Diego Simeone in Madrid after a £34m deal was agreed with Tottenham.

Spurs have signed Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke this summer in preparation for the sale of their captain. The 28-year-old was handed the Spurs captain's armband last summer, when he signed a new four-year contract, yet will leave following his extended post-World Cup break.

Newcastle are trying their best to hold onto their left-back after losing Tonali, Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon. But The Sun claims that United haven't given up hope in the pursuit of their first-choice transfer target as they look to provide competition for Luke Shaw. Importantly, it is now claimed that Hall wants to join the Toon exodus and leave for Old Trafford.

United are monitoring other targets, with Club Brugge's £30m-rated Joaquin Seys another option along with Jorge Salinas of Racing Santander, who could cost £14m.

The World Cup-winning captain is keen to leave Manchester City and join Barca, where he's agreed personal terms. Real Madrid remain interested in signing the Ballon d'Or winner, but Barca are in pole position, despite having seen one bid rejected already.

"Out of respect for Madrid, as they have been class, Rodri informed them that his decision is to join Barca," Rodri's agent Pablo Barquero told a Spanish radio station five days ago.

City haven't given up hope of keeping Rodri yet are looking for replacements, with £85m-rated Lille star Ayyoub Bouaddi chief among them. Enzo Maresca wants a reunion with Enzo Fernandez, who Chelsea don't want to sell and have therefore slapped a £120m valuation on him.

Monaco have rejected a club-record €50m (£42m) bid from Palace for the Senegal international. Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly monitoring Camara, a 22-year-old midfielder, but Palace will return to try and land their man.

Jesus' agent was spotted at Napoli's training ground last week - even if he did try to pass it off as something else - and Arsenal are open to selling the Brazilian. With Romelu Lukaku and Lorenzo Lucca potentially heading for the exit, Napoli could fork out around €20m (£17m) for Jesus, who has slipped down the pecking order behind Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz at Arsenal.

Arsenal have so far only managed to move on Leandro Trossard (£17m to Besiktas), Jakub Kiwior (£14.7m to Porto), Karl Hein (£2.5m to Werder Bremen) and Christian Norgaard (£7m to Everton) this summer and know further exits are required.

Spence shot to prominence during the World Cup, yet has an uncertain future at Spurs, who have signed Andy Robertson on a free transfer and have Pedro Porro, Destiny Udogie, Souza and Ben Davies as full-back options.

Positive talks took place between Spurs and Inter Milan on Tuesday and the Italian side reportedly believe a total package of around £30m (€35m) could be enough to land the versatile defender. They want a player capable of playing wing-back and Spence appears to fit the bill.

Gary O'Neil managed Enciso at Chelsea's sister club Strasbourg last season and wants the Paraguayan to follow him to Suffolk. The Tractor Boys are understood to have reached an agreement for the 22-year-old, who previously spent time on loan with the club in 2025.

His fee could surpass the club-record £24m they paid Toulouse for Emersonn earlier this summer.

Villa have sold Lucas Digne to Paris Saint-Germain and want Ruggeri as his replacement at left-back. They have made significant progress over a deal which should be worth around £21.4m (€25m).
