Maresca discusses future of Man City star after impressive pre-season display
Manchester City boss Enzo Maresca says Omar Marmoush has a decision to make on his own future.
Marmoush struggled for regular minutes last season and Maresca accepts the forward will naturally be looking for more opportunities this campaign.
The City boss compared the situation to that of goalkeeper James Trafford, who recently departed to joined Leeds United.

“The answer has to be similar to the one I answer about James Trafford,” Maresca said.
“Players work every day, they want to play so when they don’t play they are not happy. Omar did not play a lot last year so his desire is probably to play more minutes.
“It doesn’t mean that he isn’t going to play more minutes here but it’s also his decision, and he needs to decide.”
Maresca was speaking after Marmoush scored twice to help City to a 3-1 win over Atletico Madrid in a pre-season friendly in South Korea, with Rayan Ait-Nouri getting the other.
