JJ Gabriel is still the main topic of conversation at Old Trafford, more than a week on since he expressed his desire to cancel his registration and leave United with immediate effect. The Reds have been left stunned by Gabriel's decision but are still hoping to convince him to stay, despite significant interest elsewhere.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are among the leading contenders to land Gabriel's signature and it's thought he would prefer a move to Spain, rather than joining Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain. If he does chose to remain in England, however, Chelsea is his top option.

Although he is desperate to quit United, Gabriel is not able to leave until the end of the season and cannot be deregistered. He is 16 next month, so can then become eligible to sign a scholarship agreement with United.

Elsewhere, United fans have called for a boycott of INEOS-owned products and companies, as well as any of United's commercial sponsorship deals. Some examples include Betway, CocaCola, Adidas, and DHL.
