Man United, Newcastle and Tottenham ‘in contact’ for Edmond Tapsoba as €50 million could open talks
Fussballdaten reports that Manchester United, Newcastle United and Tottenham are maintaining close contact with the representatives of Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Edmond Tapsoba.
Leverkusen would prefer to keep the 27-year-old, but a fee of at least €50 million could convince them to open negotiations.
The defender signed a long-term contract extension until 2031 at the end of April, placing the club in a strong negotiating position.
Tapsoba is a Burkina Faso international.
He joined Leverkusen from Portuguese side Vitória Guimarães for around €20 million in January 2020.
