Three Arsenal games have been rescheduled by the Premier League following the announcement of broadcast selections in the United Kingdom from October to the start of November.

The Gunners' clash against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium has been moved to Saturday, October 10. The match will kick off at 12:30pm (BST) and be broadcast live to viewers in the UK on TNT Sports.

The following week, Arsenal will now lock horns with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday, October 18. The game will take place at 4:30pm (BST) and be broadcast live to viewers in the UK on Sky Sports.

The third and final Premier League fixture amendment concerning the Gunners for the matchweeks six, seven, eight and nine, will be the trip to Anfield at the start of November. On Sunday, November 1, Liverpool will host Arsenal at 4:30pm (GMT), and the game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Unlike a handful of the fixture amendments, neither of the Gunners' aforementioned games hinge on the Champions League, Europa League, or Conference League draw at the end of this month, according to the Premier League website.

With Arsenal expected to compete on all fronts this season, Mikel Arteta and supporters alike can expect plenty more changes to the schedule in the coming months. In October 2025, the Gunners boss wasn't afraid to take aim at the calendar's organisers.

Speaking to reporters about fixture congestion, Arteta said: "Every decision that we make in terms of a fixture has to be guided on two main things, I think: players' welfare and then supporters.

"That's it. The rest has to come very, very far away from that. And we should never forget that principle. That's the only thing I would say."

Arteta continued: "If we look after the players' welfare and our supporters, I think we're never going to get to that point [where players strike]. And that's it. We have to close the window there. We cannot open that window; it has to be closed -- It's our most precious value.

"We have the best league in the world, and we cannot just open any window for anything just to lose that because we don't respect that, and we forget what we are made of and what makes this game and this league so, so special.

"If we respect that, I'm sure we're going to be totally fine."

Then, in January 2026, Arteta joked that he needed to play tricks on his players to keep their minds off the hectic fixture schedule. The Spaniard said: "We keep tricking the players!

"The next one is the most important one of the season, and then three days later the same. That's the demand, that's the expectations that we have. That's the standards that we have set as well as a team and as a club.

"We are living with that with joy, with enthusiasm and with a lot of energy as requested."

This season, as Arsenal look to defend the Premier League title and take another stab at the Champions League, Arteta will hope his squad can find the same joy, enthusiasm, and energy during difficult periods.
