Harry Kane 'expected' to sign new Bayern deal as discussions planned

Bayern Munich are set to keep hold of star striker Harry Kane for the foreseeable future.

That is according to a report from Times Sport on Sunday, which claims the England captain is "expected" to sign a new deal with the German giants until 2029.

Kane is currently in the final year of his contract after departing Tottenham and the Premier League for the Bundesliga. Since the switch, he has settled in expertly with Bayern, winning two German league titles, the DFB Pokal and the German Super Cup.

According to the report, the club and player are "set to hold talks this week" once Kane returns from vacation and meets up with his team-mates.

The extension of a further two years with the club means the 33-year-old will set his sights on achieving even more ridiculous goalscoring feats.

Kane currently has a total of 146 goals for the club since joining from Spurs in 2023. He will surely look to kick-start the new season with another as Bayern face Borussia Dortmund in the Supercup on August 22
