Good afternoon!
Welcome to The Independent’s coverage of today’s Premier League action as Manchester United travel to Fulham with their manager under pressure.
Michael Carrick’s team have had a bad week following the loss to Man City in the league and then their exit from the Carabao Cup despite being two goals up against Brighton.
Still, the week can end on a high note if they defeat Fulham away from home and propel themselves up the table.
The Cottagers are bottom of the table and their own boss, Alvaro Arbeloa, is under pressure himself to turn around their fortunes. Can they do so with a strong win over Man Utd?
