Aston Villa express interest in loan deal for Real Madrid star Endrick - with Jose Mourinho set to make decision on Brazilian forward

Aston Villa are among the growing list of clubs interested in taking Endrick on loan from Real Madrid.

The Brazilian forward is waiting to see if he is part of Jose Mourinho's plans for this season as he wants to establish himself in Madrid.

However, with competition for places fierce he may be forced to seek a temporary move away as he did last season with Lyon.

The 20-year-old joined Madrid from Palmeiras for £50m in 2024 after he turned 18, with a deal having been agreed two years before.

He has scored seven goals in 40 appearances for Los Blancos but joined Lyon for the second half of 2025-26 after struggling for regular gametime.

Endrick impressed in France, netting five goals and adding seven assists in 16 appearances.

That form was enough for him to earn a place in Brazil's World Cup squad, yet despite significant clamour back home, the 20-year-old only played 111 minutes at the tournament.

Endrick failed to score during that time as Carlo Ancelotti's side suffered an embarrassing exit in the last-16 stage at the hands of Norway.

Villa are looking for attacking reinforcements following the departures of Morgan Rogers and Youri Tielemans this summer, while there is uncertainty over the future of backup striker Tammy Abraham.

Ollie Watkins was also linked with Fenerbahce last month and Unai Emery's side sold Lucas Digne to PSG over the weekend.

They have so far added Switzerland World Cup breakout star Johan Manzambi and Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes.

Emery's side kick off their season with the UEFA Super Cup against PSG on Wednesday night, before they travel to Brighton next weekend in the Premier League.
