Arsenal Have Set Their Sights On This Brentford Winger: What Will He Add To Arteta’s Side?

In a recent post on X, journalist Ekrem Konur revealed that Arsenal have set their sights on Brentford winger Kevin Schade. It has been mentioned that the Gunners are eyeing a move to secure the services of the German wide player in this January transfer window.

Schade’s Impressive Form In The Premier League

Schade has enjoyed a good run of form at Brentford in this campaign so far after putting in a few productive displays for them in the Premier League. The German talent has registered three goals in five league matches for the Bees this season.

The 24-year-old is currently one of the most talented wide players in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that the Gunners are hoping to land him this January.

His current contract at the Gtech Community Stadium will expire in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for Arsenal to sign him on a cut-price deal next year.

What Will Schade Add To Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta’s Side?

Schade is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has the vision to engineer some decent chances for his teammates to score and can shoot the ball with power from long range.

The German sensation can chip in by scoring a handful of important goals for his team from the flanks. Schade mainly functions as a left-sided wide player but can also fill in as a right-winger or play as a centre-forward if required. He has some experience in the Premier League and won’t take any time to settle into life at Arsenal if they can devise a way to get him on board in 2027.

Schade would add more firepower to Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He is capable of challenging for a regular starting spot at the Emirates Stadium in the coming years.

At 24, Schade will only get better with each season. He is good enough to help the Gunners compete across all fronts in the future. Hence, Arteta would be wise to go all out to snap him up in the winter transfer period, but only if he can get him for a reasonable price.
