Arsenal fixtures for November confirmed as Premier League make Man City change

Arsenal have discovered their November fixtures changes including their meeting with Manchester City after the Premier League released the new information in the schedule

Two of Arsenal's Premier League fixtures in November have been changed for TV coverage in what is looking to be a very tough month for the Gunners. It includes the first meeting between Mikel Arteta and Enzo Maresca since Manchester City were battered in the Community Shield in August.

All the games had been scheduled for Saturday 3pm kick-offs besides the trip to Anfield on November 1, which had already been moved so it can be broadcast on TV. Arsenal face Liverpool away from home on the Sunday at 4:30pm UK time, with the fixture announced in the last round of published kick-off times.

After the poor result against Brighton, the three-week international break covering two full weekends of action has delayed Arsenal’s chance to respond to the result swiftly. They must instead wait until October 10 where they will host Leeds United, followed by a trip to Nottingham Forest, the visit of Everton to the Emirates Stadium and then that infamous Anfield clash to start November.

The Premier League have announced that Arsenal’s matches against Newcastle United and Manchester City will be tweaked. Hull Cit'y's match with the Gunners on Saturday, November 7 at 3pm has remained in place.

The trip to Tyneside, which has always been a dramatic game, was scheduled for Saturday, November 21 at 3pm, but is now moved to 5:30pm the same day.

And finally, Manchester City’s long-awaited return to the Emirates was due to be played on Saturday, November 28 at 3pm, but unsurprisingly has been changed to Sunday, November 29 at 4:30pm.

Arsenal will also have two European games in November, away to Slavia Praha on Wednesday, November 4 and at home to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, November 24. If they overcome Fleetwood Town in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, the quarter-finals are not scheduled until the week commencing December 14.

The festive fixtures for December and January for Premier League matchdays 13 to 20 will be unveiled the week commencing October 19, with the remaining January games revealed on the week commencing November 30.
